An Arbor Vitae woman was injured in a one vehicle crash late last month. TheLakelandTimes reports a witness reports Brooke Crandall’s vehicle sped up on her as she was driving on Lemma Creek Road near the intersection of Brandy Lake Road. Crandall lost control of her vehicle as she she took a curve in the road, sliding into and out of the ditch, striking some trees, spinning the car and finally spinning before coming to a stop in the middle of the road. Crandall reports she accidentally stepped on the accelerator rather than the brake pedal. Crandall was transported to Marshfield hospital. A passenger in the vehicle sustained minor injuries but did not go to the hospital. Crandall was given a citation for failure to control her vehicle.
