At a meeting of the Board of Trustees, the future of the building trades program was discussed and the board approved its administrative restructuring plan. TheDailyGlobe reports the administrative restructuring comes as Vice President of Academic Services leaves and will mean a shuffling of duties. When it comes to the building trades program, instructor Dennis Beaudette said the need for those in the building trades is still high and that demand will only continue to grow. After discussing options, the board voted to hold on any action until July 15th to take any action regarding suspension of the program. If the minimum number of students needed to take the course is not met, it would still allow time for those students who had signed up find alternate course.
