A memorial service for fallen peace officers from the U.P. is being held at Gogebic Community College on Wednesday at 11 am at GCC’s Lindquist Center.. The service will feature a roll call of fallen officers, laying of a wreath and the blowing of Taps. There will be also be a keynote speech by Art and Tiffany Romans, the family of fallen officer Ervin Romans II, who was from Ironwood. The memorial service is being hosted by the Wakefield Post of the Michigan State Police.
