St. Germain and Plum Lake Get Money for Road Work

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers signed a $3.5 million contract for road improvements on WIS 155 between WIS 70 and Lake Street in the town of St. Germain and Plum Lake in Vilas County. Work is scheduled to begin on the 20th and includes replacing and repairing culverts, grading and shaping ditches, milling and overlay HMA pavement, widening paved shoulders, installing centerline rumble strips and restoring and upgrading pavement markings. Motorists will see flagging operations as well as shoulder and lane closures. Construction is scheduled to finish by the fall, depending on weather conditions.
