Spring is in the air and with the change in seasons comes the opportunity to do some housecleaning! The 21st Annual Spring Clean-Up Days in Ironwood are scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, May 3-4. Residents can bring unwanted items to dispose of free of charge. The drop-off location will be behind the Ironwood Public Safety building. There is a limit of one pick-up load per property and a photo ID is required for proof of residency. Items that will not be accepted include car batteries, tires, paint, and electronic waste. Those bringing items must be responsible for unloading their own vehicles and placing items in the dumpster…curbside service will not be available.
