A rescued bearded dragon from Wisconsin may soon become a celebrity. Apollo the bearded dragon was found by the side of the road two years ago, after he escaped where he was living. Michael Staub drove seven hours from Sioux Falls to adopt him from the Marathon Humane Society in Wausau. He became a much loved pet and Staub entered him in the Cadbury Easter Bunny Contest. Apollo is now among 32 semi-finalists from across the country to appear in the Cadbury campaign. Staub says even if Apollo doesn’t win, he is working on getting him a job as a therapy animal.
