No Snow, No Problem..ATV and UTV Trails Open in Tri-County Area

The lack of snow in the region has prompted a decision to allow off road vehicle riding to begin in February.
TheDailyPress reports Iron and Ontonagon counties have issued statements announcing that snowmobile trails would be closed and atv/utv trails would be open until further notice. The Gogebic Range Authority has made the same decision, according to Jerry Nezworski, president of the group. It’s been emphasized that snowmobile trails are not the same as atv/utv trails and riders should be aware of that. Clubs are still hopeful there would be a sufficient snowfall that would allow riders to take their sled out, but all are aware those chances are slim.
