Renovations continue and according to TheDailyGlobe, Library Director Lynne Wiercinski said the addition of the main floor restroom project is going well, with the building only having to close for a few days during the work. The main floor restroom is an addition that the library needed for many years. Funding for the renovation is from a grant called the Transforming Communities Grant, from the American Library Association, as well as funds raised by the Friends of the Ironwood Carnegie Library, and savings from the past few years that have been set aside for the project.
