The identities of the two people who perished in a fire in Ironwood at the beginning of January have been released. The medical examiner’s office identified 58 year old Jerry Kasieta and 81 year old Joseph Kasieta. Both were residents of the house in the 400 block of Greenwood Street. Although no foul play is suspected, the cause of the fire remains undetermined and investigation continues. The Ironwood Department of Public Safety has asked that anyone with information, including photos or videos of the blaze contact them.
