At the last meeting of the Bessemer Parks and Recreation Commission, the commission voted to approve Dominic Fabbri as a parks commissioner. Fabbri’s appointment was put forth by Mayor Pete Tacconelli. According to TheDailyGlobe, Fabbri has served on the city planning commission previously and has said as a parent, he looks forward to serving on Parks and Rec. The commission also approved the reappointment of Eric Longhini and Trevor Jackovich. There are still one open seat on the Planning commission and two seats on the Downtown Development Authority.
