At its first meeting of the year, the Ironwood City Commission heard the final report of the city’s audit for the fiscal year 2023. TheDailyGlobe reports the audit came back clean, no findings, no questions or material misstatements according to city clerk Jen Jacobsen. The commission voted to accept the audit report and put it on file. Also during the meeting, City Manager Paul Anderson offered the commission’s condolences to the family and friends of the two fire victims who died in the house fire on Greenbush Street. He also thanked the first responders who aided during that event.
