The Ashland County Sheriff’s office has released the name of the elderly man who died in the house fire On Salo Road in White River. The victim was identified as 70 year-old Donald Houle, Jr., who lived alone in the house. TheDailyPress reports family lived next door to Houle, but it was neighbors that reported the fire. It is believed the fire was accidental and that no foul play is suspected, however an investigation continues.
