Vilas County Charity for Kids Needs Help Reaching Goal

Despite a good base of folks who regularly shop and contribute to the Warm the Children Program in Vilas and parts of Oneida counties, the program has reported it is sitting at 82% of its annual goal for the year. The program provides warm winter clothing for kids in the area. The program serves almost 500 kids each year, and right now 438 have been taken shopping already. The program’s shortfall is about $15,000 shy of it’s annual goal. Warm the Children is asking anyone who would still like to donate to stop by the Vilas County News-Review in Eagle River, mail in with a note that says “Warm the Children” or go online to vncnewsreview.com.
