Snowriver Mountain Resort is celebrating the grand opening of its Voyageur Express Chairlift this Saturday. 6News reports the Voyageur is the U.P.’s first and only high-speed chairlift. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony for the lift, live entertainment and complimentary appetizers in the bar and grill, along with tours of the Sugar Maple Chalet and The Lodge at Jackson Creek, all part of the upgrades to the facility. President and owner of Snowriver, Charles Skinner says the chairlift is a testament to providing an unparalleled alpine experience to all guests.
