Bayfield County is slated to receive support in the form of federal funding for emergency food and shelter programs and is looking for local agencies in need to apply. TheAshlandDailyPress reports the county will have roughly $6,000 to distribute to those organizations that apply, with certain operating requirements. Agencies interested in applying can do so at bayfieldcountywi.gov, in the NEWSFLASH section at the bottom of the opening page. The deadline for applications is the 19th.
