Bessemer City Council Ends Search for City Position

It looks like the city of Bessmer has a new City Manager. According to TheDailyGlobe, the city council in a special meeting at the beginning of the week voted to offer the position to Christopher Frazer of Imlay. Council member Terry Kryshak was absent from the meeting, otherwise the vote was unanimous. Frazer is tentatively expected to start on Monday. The city had receive more than 30 applications for the position. Also moving into a new position, former secretary Samantha Dorr has been appointed to deputy clerk. The position had been posted internally after Kelli Stutz resigned from the position on the 25th.
