“The Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum is gearing up to observe the 48th anniversary of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. The museum will be hosting a memorial event to mark the loss of the freighter to the Superior with all 29 souls aboard. This year’s event tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. is closed to the public as the museum is closed for the season, but will be available via livestreaming so that everyone can participate. There’s more information on the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum’s Facebook page, including how to stream the memorial. The Michigan Maritime Museum in South Haven will also rebroadcast the livestream. I’m Roxanne Stuart.”
