Bayfield County’s only nursing home will soon have a new roof. TheDailyPress reports the county is borrowing three million dollars through short term bonds that will fund replacing the roof and highway repairs. Northern Lights Services has had to put off maintenance projects for the last few years and now the facility in Washburn has a backlog of things that need to be done at the facility. The roof replacement is just one of several projects the county board has on its list for Northern Lights, including hopefully upgrading the air conditioning and repairing the parking lot.
