Mercer Board of Supers Will Carry On Without Sendra

The Mercer Board of Supervisors will continue on with an empty seat on the board. TheDailyGlobe reports that Board Chairman Joseph Pinardi said he has no plans to appoint someone to act as interim representative for Ward 11, now that John Sendra has passed. Pinard says the election is so close that its best for the voters to decide. He also said there are still 14 members on the board, so rewatching a quorum should not be an issue. Pinardi also emphasized that any resident is invited to run for the board, as all seats are open this year.
