After 25 Years Serving the Community, County Clerk Saari Retires

After over 25 years as County Clerk, Michael Saari retired late last week. TheDailyGlobe reports after serving the county of working with the public and the county board of supervisors and its committees, Saari’s last day wrapped up with a party to send him off. Saari attended his last board meeting on the 26th of last month. He says his successor, Christan Brandt of Mercer will make the transition from his tenure a smooth one. Brandt is serving as interim and then will run for the office in the November election next year. Saari says he’ll be available to Brandt as needed, just in case there are questions.
