A Favorite Local Celebration Is This Weekend

The Vilas County Fairgrounds are the place to be this weekend as the community celebrates the 43rd Annual Cranberry Fest. The Eagle River Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center hosts the event, which is expected to draw some 40,000 cranberry fans to the area. There’ll be around 300 vendors there. According to the NewsReview, Saturday and Sunday starts off with the ever popular pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 am. There’ll be shopping, entertainment, along with fresh and dried cranberries. And for the first time ever, the Eagle River Chamber of Commerce is holding a cash raffle. Proceeds from the raffle will fund local events put on by the Chamber.
