Today is the first day of the 45th Annual Lake Gogebic Walleye Tournament. Prizes range from $105 to $2000. Officials say all fish must be re gistered and release live and that the speed limit on the lake is 55 mph. Mike McMann of Bergland Outfitters says leeches are in short supply, but slip bobbers and crawlers will work well. Trolling in the big mud flats with a crawler harness or crank baits are also working well to bring in the Walleye right now. The tournament runs through Saturday.
