The city of Ironwood is looking to fill a couple of positions in the Department of Public Works. TheDailyGlobe reports that announcements for the positions of equipment repair person and equipment operator operator II are up and the positions are still open. Also, the position of Department of Public Works is looking for a new Supervisor. Applications can be obtained at City Hall. Also in city news, excavation for the lead service line replacement project is due to start soon. Excavation and replacement of around 225 water service lines is scheduled to continue through 2025.
