New Program Hopes to Reach Food Insecure in Vilas and Oneida Counties

Asking for help when there’s no food in the house and no money to buy it can be difficult. There’s a resource to help get the help needed without the stigma. The Feed Our Rural Kids or FORK program is available help find food resources in Vilas and Oneida Counties. WXPR reports that FORK has launched a website to make it easier. The website lists resources like pantries or backpack programs. There is a list of all 47 towns in both counties, and all one has to do is click on their town and they’ll find a list with links of help in their area.
