Better Safe Than Sorry, Lady of Lake School On Brief Lockdown

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School in Ashland was put on lockdown for a short time on Wednesday, due to a report of a woman with a knife near the playground. TheAshlandDailyPress reports the school called Ashland Police after the woman rode near the playground with a knife strapped to her waist. She did not threaten anyone or take the knife out of her belt, but school officials erred on the side of caution and moved kids off the playground and into the building. In checking, officers located Tabitha Zwetow, who had active warrants. Zwetow was taken into custody. Ashland Police Chief Bill Hagstrom there was never a threat to anyone.
