Vilas County Clerk Working to Fill Seats on Board of Supervisors

The Vilas County Board of Supervisors may soon be back up to full strength. TheLakelandTimes reports that the board has been down three members of the full 21 since May, but when the board meets on the 22nd, County Clerk Kim Olkowski says two of those vacancies may be filled. There have been three applicants for the Ward 1 & 2 seats in Cloverland vacated by Walt Maciag who resigned in the Spring. Olkowski says the district 7 seat, which is wards five and six in Arbor Vitae is still open and the deadline for applications for that seat will be extended. Olkowski says she hopes to have all three seats filled by the end of the month.
