Four people from Hurley are being honored on Saturday at 10 am by the Hurley Education Foundation. TheDailyGlobe reports the Foundation’s Distinguished Alumni and Friends award ceremony will be held at the Hurley Pre-K through 12 School. Jeanne Leccia Erickson, class of 72, Gen. J. Gregory Pavlovich, U.S. Air Force, retired, class of 70, former longtime school board president Joe Simonich; and Zona Wick, both class of 75 are all being honored. The Hurley Education Foundation recognizes annually those that have made an outstanding contribution to education in the Hurley School District.
