AAA Says Fourth of July Travel Will Set Records in Michigan

1.5 million Michiganders are expected to take to the roads this holiday, with another 70,000 traveling by air. AAA say this year’s 4th of July looks to set a record, with folks traveling at least 50 miles or more to get to their holiday destinations starting on Friday. Nationally, travel is also expected to set records, with almost 51 million Americans forecasted to travel, which is expected to be at least 2 million more than last year. AAA reminds travelers to be prepared, checking your vehicle before taking off and being mindfull while on the road.
