At a meeting last week of the town board of supervisors, the president of the St. Germain ATV Club submitted a written request and addressed the town board regarding allowing year-round ATV/UTV traffic on hard surface roads. TheLakelandTimes reports club chairman Gary Penner addressed the board, saying there have been questions and requests to allow the traffic from town residents and club members. After considerable discussion, the board voted unanimously to approve amendments to the ordinance governing that traffic, subject to public review and comment. The board agreed to put it on the agenda for their next meeting on the 25th.
