Gogebic Community College President George McNulty this past Friday night welcomed 2023 graduates, saying “this is truly your stage, a time your family, friends, community and college take great pride in your accomplishments”. TheDailyGlobe reports 195 certificates and degrees were awarded at this year’s commencement ceremony several earning multiple certificates or degrees. Guest speaker and Dean Emeritus Steven Wesselhoft spoke about the importance of authenticity when faced with the challenges of a modern world. He said, “follow your inner voice until that voice becomes an intimate private ear that can truly listen to another”.
