This week, all across Wisconsin, the annual statewide tornado drill will take place on Thursday at 1:45 and 6:45 as part of the annual Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness week. During the April 20th test, the National Weather Service will conduct NOAA Weather Radio tests that can be heard if you are actively listening to devices or have one programmed to activate on test alerts. If there is a severe weather threat on Thursday, the test will be postponed by a day. The Marathon County Office of Emergency Management will hold its siren test during the regular time, Monday at 1:15. Fore more information on severe weather preparation, go to readywisconsin.wi.gov.
