At the St. Germain town board meeting earlier in the month, supervisors discussed the possibility of making all of the town’s hard-surface roads open for use year-round by ATVs/UTVs. TheLakelandTimes reports the St. Germain ATV club had submitted a written request to the Town Board Chair towards the end of March. It was agreed that a draft modification to the existing ordinance regarding ATV/UTV use would have to be drawn up and presented to the board. Supervisor Ted Ritter made a motion to table the discussion until the boards next meeting, which would allow the board to craft a draft revision and schedule a public forum on the matter, and the board voted unanimously on the motion.
