This weekend, the Luther L. Wright High School and Middle School bands will hold their spring concert. TheDailyGlobe reports the program will be wide and varied, with solo and small ensembles as well as full band performances. According to band director Kirk McBrayer, participation this year in the various groups and competitions has been higher than last year, with the school competing in 13 different event and three groups going to state competition. The Spring Concert is Sunday at 2 pm in the Historic Ironwood Theater.
