Some Iron County Office to Change Hours for the Summer

In the coming summer months, several Iron County departments will move to a 4 day work week. The DailyGlobe reports the county clerk, county treasurer and register of deeds offices will be open from 7am to 5pm four days a week, if the county board of supervisors approves the move at its meeting next week. County Treasurer Clara Maki says being open a couple of hours longer will be more convenient for residents who need to conduct business but can’t get away from work. The finance committee at their meeting on the 13th approved the change in schedule. It was suggested that the change in hours be posted on the county websites soon as possible with a contact phone number for emergency needs on Fridays.
