Easter Sunday is on the way, with bunnies and baskets filled with colored eggs and of course, Easter dinner. This holiday, Little Brothers is preparing Easter dinner for seniors at several meal sites in Ontonagon, Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw and Marquette counties. Carol Korpela, the executive director of Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly says the meal will have all the fixin’s, including a non-alcoholic champagne toast. Little Brothers plans on serving over 1,000 meals and that’s going to take a lot of volunteers, including some folks who’[d be willing to drive some seniors to the meal sites.
