Michigan No Longer A Right To Work State…

The state of Michigan has become the first state in 58 years to repeal its “right to work law”, which allowed workers to choose not to pay union dues and fees, but still be represented. Republicans who opposed the repeal said the state will become less attractive to businesses and it will lead to forced union membership. Some labor union members say the repeal will benefit both union and non union workers by attracting better paying jobs to the state, as union membership will increase.
