City Manager Thankful for Response at Krist Fire…

The Ironwood City Commission at their meeting on Monday, City Manager Paul Anderson in his report praised the Public Safety Department’s quick response to the fire at the Krist service station last week. The DailyGlobe reports he also thanked the DPW for assistance at the scene, arriving in just minutes, adding that the city’s public service officers being trained as firefighters is a great benefit to the community. The Commission also approved the recommendation by Mayor Corcoran to appoint Stephanie Peterson to the Civic Center board for a three year term that ends in October of 2025.
