Chequemegon Arts Council Announces Grant Opportunity

The annual Chequemegon Bay Arts Council call for artists has been announced. The Arts Council puts out a call for application for artistic development grants. The AshlandDailyPress reports the grants are intended to promote learning and encourage local residents to explore and extend their artistic abilities for their own growth and to enhance community artistic excellence. Any professional, amateur or student artist that lives in Ashland or Bayfield counties is encouraged and eligible to apply. Applications will be accepted til April 1st and announcements of the grant winners will be made by April 13th. For more information contact the Chequemagon Bay Arts Council.
