Vehicle Crashing Into Garage In Ontonagon Injures Two, One Is Hospitalized…
Two men from Chillicothe, Ohio were injured when they failed to negotiate a turn and ran into a garage at 701 Prehnite Street in Ontonagon. The driver of the vehicle was taken to Aspirus Ontonagon for treatment. The passenger received minor injuries and sought his own medical care. No one in the house was injured, however the driver’s vehicle and the homeowners vehicles in the garage sustained serious damage. Alcohol and speed may have been a factor in the crash. The Ontonagon County Sheriff’s office, along with Michigan State Polcie troopers from Wakefield and Iron Mountain as well as the Ontonagon Fire Department assisted at the scene.
