Kinship of Iron County has announced it has a new coordinator. Kinship is a non-profit mentorship organization that has worked with kids for the past four decades. Coordinator Carly Ekberg is looking to revitalize the program after the pandemic put a halt to regular meetups and slowed participation. Currently there are 11 kids in the program with just one mentor. The program is looking for new mentors as well as community partners. To become a mentor, you must be over 18 and pass a background check. For more information contact Carly Ekberg via email at carly.kinship@gmail.com.
