Annual March for Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women Takes Place…
Yesterday, men, boys and two spirit were included for the first time as a show of support in the 8th annual Duluth and Superior March for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relative Awareness Day . the events focus continues to be helping increase the visibility of missing and murdered women and young girls and to honor them. A disproportionate number of Native women are murdered each year, and this year and the ceremony and march were held at noon and memorialized those lost, those missing and those who mourn them.
