Saturday was the big day for the 14th annual SISU Ski Fest in Ironwood. A record crowd from all over the Midwest raced, a crowd of well over 800. The weather at Christmas and New Years made for an almost perfect race course. Two main races took place, with the event filling up so fast that late coming skiers had to be turned away for safety’s sake. Organizers were very pleased with the turnout and attendees said the whole event, including Saturday felt like a big community party.
