Judge Drops Sexual Assault Charges Against Former Ashland Pastor

A case that was adjourned, declared a mistrial and then retried over the past three and a half years has been dismissed by a judge. The DailyPress reports former pastor Tony Lashbrook in 2018 was charged with sexual assault and enticement of a child. At the time, Lashbrook was a local school bus driver and pastor of Ashland’s Lighthouse Baptist Church. Lashbrook’s defense at a certain point petitioned the judge to dismiss charges due to communication failure and disclosure issues. Judge Angeline Winton ultimately ruled to dismiss the case on the 12th and forbade the prosecution to refile charges
