Bayfield County Funds Critical Emergency Services Companies in Area

Several emergency medical services companies in Bayfield County recently received around $20,000 from the County to boost their staffs. The hope is that the funds are the seed money that will help develop a joint group that can respond to larger scale emervencies in the area. TheDailyPress reports that County Administrator Mark Abeles-Allison said the county has been focusing on the needs of emergency services in the community and bringing in more staff who can work together in the event of major emergencies. Each of the services in receipt of the funding has said the money is welcome and hopefully will help the communities served understand the need for support for their critical contribution.
