Baraga Post Office Renamed

A Baraga post office is being renamed after a trailblazing woman who served the area. It will now be named the Cora Reynolds Anderson Post Office, after the woman who was born, raised and represented the area. Born in 1882, Reynolds Anderson was the first woman to serve in the Michigan House of Representatives, serving Baraga, Iron, Keweenaw and Ontonagon Counties. She won one term, but lost after redistricting in 1926.
