Next election, Ashland voters will choose council positions in Districts 2,4 and 6 and they’ll be able to do so at the Bretting Community Center. The DailyPress reports the Ashland City Council earlier in the month voted to use the center as election headquarters for the February 21st primary and the April 4 general election. Consolidating the area’s two polling places to one central location will make for easy and hopefully quicker vote counting and reporting.
