A snowmobile Safety Education/Certification Course is being offered this Saturday, the 5th, at Gogebic Community College. The main purpose of the course is to educate and develop safe, knowledgeable and responsible Snowmobile owners and operators. Topics covered include correct riding techniques, protective equipment, understanding terrain and trail operation, laws and regulations, causes and prevention of crashes, and environmental concerns and reporting responsibility. The course is by pre-registration only and must be done online. It is open to all ages, students under 10 or with special needs must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
