The Jack Frost Festival kicks off Thursday night in Ironwood with the Ironwood Area Schools 6th Grade Choir Concert at 7. Friday afternoon, the Northern Elves Festival Holiday Market will be held from 3-7. Friday night is First Friday in downtown Ironwood. A John Denver Christmas is scheduled for 7 pm at the historic Ironwood Theatre on Friday night. The Ironwood Carnegie Library will host a Jack Frost Parade Open House from 5 to 6;30, with cookies and hot cider on the street and the Holiday Story Walk in the windows of all the downtown businesses. Saturday, the Northern Elves Festival Holiday Market continues from 12-5. The Santa Dash is at 5:30 Saturday night, be sure and get your Santa Suit early, followed by the Jack Frost Parade at 6.
