At their meeting earlier in the week, the Iron County Board of Supervisors approved a budget for fiscal year 2023. The Globe reports that passing the nearly $2o million budget was followed by a public hearing during which the Iron County Clerk presented the nuts and bolts of the document. Projected expenses for the year came in at $19,917,378.47, while predicted revenue came in at $14,221,583.47. The difference between the two is the tax levy of just under $5,696,000.
