Michigan United Way Pitches In To Help Hurricane Ian Survivors

All seven United Way call centers in Michigan have banded together to provide call support for those looking to contact loved ones, and to provide resources for those in the path of Hurrican Ian. The Michigan 211 network started taking calls from 14 counties along Florida’s Gulf Coast late last week. Many of the call centers in the state are overwhelmed or are still inoperable due to the hurricane. If anyone is interested in helping, go to the Heart of West Michigan United Way website at hwmuw.org
